When I was a boy I was heavily engaged in woodworking. I loved planning and designing the different wooden elements so they could congregate- forming something bigger than the sum of their parts. As a result, woodworking gave me a deep understanding and appreciation for quality craftsmanship. So I began looking for a camera brand that values the same things I do. I was looking for a company full of individuals who came together to create a functional, beautiful, durable camera for the photographers that need it most. Somebody who “got it” ya know?

That’s when I landed on Leica. From their beautiful and sleek designs, rich history, and keen attention to detail, the German brand fit the bill perfectly. So it became my new goal to own a Leica one day, and I’d save tirelessly until that objective was achieved. Finally, after I turned 19, my hard work paid off and I was able to afford a Leica M5. With it by my side for the last 3 years, I’ve managed to create some amazing work that I’m very proud of. One day I hope to be a Leica Ambassador, as I plan to revitalize my whole kit. Which will give me the ability to seamlessly create the images with nothing getting lost in translation.

My Dream Kit.
